We changed our avatars form .tiff to .jpeg format so we could upload them to our blogs.

7th Grade Checklist for Items to complete

  1. Create a IT blog.
  • Remove nav bar - copy text below in between <body> and <html> in blogs layout/template section - edit html

  • No personal info
    • title should have avatar name not own
    • webpage address should use avatar not name
  • Make a avatar name and picture
    • put on side of blog
      • go to layout, template, add page element, picture up load (need to be jpeg NOT tiff)
    • go to google search avatar maker got to i-am-bored ask Mr. Kelley to open
    • grab avatar using grab program
      • go to utilities to find grab
    • once saved file must open it in Preview to change format
      • in preview click file, save as, format to jpeg
  • Enable comment moderation
    • got to setting, comments, enable
    • send to keithkelley@msad48.org and notify yourself at the bottom
  • Put picture of skateboard in a post on blog

Make English blog
  • Remove nav bar (see above)
  • enable comment moderation (email to yourself)
  • Create book list
    • book title should link to novel list page on book www.maine.gov/marvel
  • Make google doc - share with Mrs. Reid put avatar name and title on it

Overview of Course Work

The Seventh Grade will learn basic group activity and building
skills as they use their MLTI iBooks to create iMovies.
They will make Safety Movies for 6th grade class on Skateboarding. Videos on the process of the skateboard plant will be made as well.

They will become an advertising agency and produce an "Ad" campaign on their part of skateboard production.

Winners of their catagory will win Prizes! Overall winner wins laptops.

Each agency will produce a Video, Print and Web product.
